Аннотация

Постгуманизм переосмысливает современную социальную ситуацию, поставив под сомнение многие важные парадигмы науки и технологии. Среди них: гуманистическая концепция человека, антропоцентрическое видение природы и истории, отношения человечества с другими живыми существами и неживыми объектами, роль новых научных открытий в трансформации человечества в отношении биологической формы, идентичности и будущего выживания. Проделывая эту работу, различные теоретики постгуманизма или трансгуманизма обсуждают вклад когнитивных наук, биоэтики, искусственного интеллекта, правовых установлений и соответствующих технологий в конструирование нового человека, семьи, собственности, общества и политического порядка, который, как предполагается, станет более справедливым, инклюзивным и процветающим. Автор подвергает этот комплекс теорий критическому анализу, показывая меняющееся место таких компонентов, как наука, технология, идеология и политическое воздействие постгуманистического движения с точки зрения его вклада в формирование принципиально новой концепции социальной иерархии, власти и доминирования, возможно, потенциально более авторитарных, чем все предшествующие. Среди его важных выводов предложение нового понятия рационализированного гуманизма в качестве альтернативы дефиниции постгуманизма.
